My friend and I came here on a Thursday night around 1 expecting it to be lit but it was really dead. I spent maybe 70 euro and regret every last one.Another disappointment from a Parisian nightclub.

I thought I was about to get thrown out Fresh Prince of Bel Air Jazzy Jeff style. my fiancé and I were turned away after waiting 20 minutes in line because we were "too drunk." This place is anything but hospitable.This pub/lounge is not the kind of place that really represents Paris, the ambiance is not very nice and the choice of drinks is not the optimum, with an entry ticket you'd expect the treatment to be nicer and the music was not good as well...I waited 20 minutes to get in at 1230am with 4 people to an empty club. My wife stayed positive and said we would be fine. Everything began when Laurent Garnier started to play here in the early 90's. This place was recommended by a DJ friend of ours who plays big gigs in Chicago. Loved it.Classic venue, great sound - crowd v young and obnoxious, unpleasant vibe.Glad I went to the Rex for Derrick May but the crowd was awful. Share. Music was garbage. I could not taste any alcohol when I asked for a drink with an extra shot and the prices were outrageous. 12,804 were here. I would definitely NOT recommend this crappy club to anyone, especially Americans!The Rex Club is an institution in Paris.

A lot of deep house nonstop and a very eclectic group of people dancing, ranging from very young to literally someones grandmother on the dance floor. The bouncer was a complete racist and jerk.

Promoter told me when I was standing in line TO PAY that I was lucky he didn't let his friend cut us in the line to get in. We had only had one glass of wine prior to entering at a jazz club in the 1st arrondissement and were far from drunk. Never again.
