Many have views over the mountains and some have balconies to enjoy a morning cup of tea or coffee and a moment of calm. Concur with other reviews that rooms, food and location are good. 2 of us were sharing a triple room & this was a comfortable & good sized room for 2 people & all their gear.
Will definitely recommend this fabulous hotel to friends .Attic rooms quite restricting if you are tall due to sloped ceilingsWent away with my son and had an amazing time. There's at least one session a day and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. The spa was also great and I used the swimming pool & sauna most evenings. The Neilsons staff were very attentive and there was nothing we could criticise, Traveling with 2 teenagers can make it a challenge but the whole ski package, including the Neilsons guided trips, (free to guests), made this an excellent holiday for all, (we did 5 of the organised trips as they are levelled for moderate to advanced). The mountain style and warm colour tones make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. So, if you want a bit of England abroad, I’d recommend this hotel but if you want a French atmosphere I suggest looking elsewhere.Stayed here Feb 2020 with Neilson.
Having breakfast set up as a buffet worked really well as it meant that you didn't have to wait around for your order to be taken, prepared etc.
The food was absolutely top notch and plenty of, but I had a couple of eating restrictions due to treatment I previously had for throat cancer, Mario ensured my dietary needs were fully met, an absolute gent. All of the firm favourites are prepared to make sure they're well fed. Meals were all well organised and food was of a high standard. Skiing to/from close to the hotel worked but I found the bus (which stops right outside) the easiest.
There’s also a large sauna which has a window to admire the scenery whilst rejuvenating your ski legs. Families and beginners are well provided for with a superb carpet conveyor lift and tranquil slopes in the Croisette area. Everything about the hotel was great. If you are looking for a really good family ski trip, this is definetly the one, can't recommend highly enough. From speaking to the other guests, all the rooms were of a really good standardHave just returned from February half-term ski trip with my 14-year old son. The hotel is great and everyone was so helpful but not instrusive - thanks especially to Scott and Tom who sorted out my passport when I left it in the room. The closest black runs are on La Masse; try the Bouquetin, Dame Blanche or the off piste run down into Orelle. With the emphasis on the skiing there are fewer off slope activities and après ski is fairly quiet, although there are some lively bars if you know where to look. The hotel's spa and wellness area have an amazing indoor adventure pool with jet beds, a whirlpool and even a lazy river, all with spectacular mountain views.
