Very cosy and romantic. Paris Brest plutôt bien mais à mon goût la crème un peu trop liquideVery good French restaurant not too fancy or expensive. We arrived a few minutes before 10:00 but a RUDE (younger) waitress rejected us; thankfully, the very kind Mme. Agneau en croûte plat original excellent feuilleté maison This is not a casual dining experience, it offers white tablecloths, slightly upscale pricing and guests can linger.

The wines I thought were overpriced compared to other wines I drank in Paris. Medium: Watercolor and black crayon. Read More. Emplacement de rêve, bistrot chic de la Place Dauphine, cette institution datant de 1894 au pied du Palais de Justice est le rendez-vous favoris du Barreau de Paris mais pas seulement….

Enjoy.Tucked away near Pont Neuf, this little eatery sits in front of a small park just opposite of the Pont Neuf point. The food was very typical French food and extremely expensive I thought. MERCI BEAUCOUP, Mme. When they say Parisians are rude, they're not always right - except for heartless people like the RUDE YOUNGER waitress at Restaurant Paul that evening of Thursday, July 18, 2019! A mere 102 meters in length, Place Dauphine, in the shape of a triangle, is buttressed by tall old apartment buildings, and faces the grand Palais de Justice (French Supreme Court), with its marbled lions guarding its grand doors.

LE RESTAURANT PAUL – Toute une légende ! Very good French restaurant not too fancy or expensive. This “institution” of Place Dauphine was built at the beginning of the XX century and still preserves its original architecture.
I had the mouse which was delicious and chocolaty.Lovely meal, charming welcome, great location.

Other outstanding dishes include the salmon tartare, escargot, steak and all the desserts. Again, make sure you get a starter.

La qualité est au rendez-vous, mais aussi la quantité!

They managed to seat us at two adjacent tables without any fuss or eyebrow wagging.

For the special occasion, the restaurant offered a prix fixe four course meal that included dessert.

A gourmet stopover offering tasty pub-grub, to the delight of attorneys and magistrates of the Law Court, as well as regular Parisians and even tourists. Situation et accès. If not for her, our night in Paris would've been ruined! We speak limited French at best but the waitstaff was plenty willing to help us out. The staff though seemed ready to go home which I was not happy about. The location is very quaint and quiet as well. Dimensions: 10 15/16 x 17 in. The desserts though were delicious. !I would definitely visit again.

She would be FIRED if that were here in the USA - such unacceptable treatment of a potential paying customer (just looking for a place to dine on a rainy night)! “LA” MAISON PAUL – Le Restaurant Paul, Place Dauphine, sur l’île de la Cité : toute une légende !

La place Dauphine, longue de 102 mètres et large de 67 mètres occupe un espace triangulaire, dans l'ouest de l'île de la Cité.Elle constitue, avec le Palais de Justice, la partie de l'île appartenant au 1 er arrondissement de Paris. Very cosy and romantic. Paris: Le Place Dauphine 1928 Paul Signac French. The size of the lobster and mullet were like large crayfish, just a taste more than a meal, though the sauce was AMAZING and everyone kept bringing their bread to that plate. We had an appealing wine, a 2014 La Cazes Bellevue St Emilion from Bordeaux, France which we were only charged $24 a bottle for. Much like the royal Place where it is located, Restaurant Paul is traditional, old school French. People eating nearby were friendly, also from other countries, so we do not know if it is popular with locals. Véronique!! They do take reservations and if you have a larger party, you would want to make them. Great fancy atmosphere for dinner/drinks!

The ONLY issue I had with Mon Paul was the lack of crumbing the table.

Back in the day, Restaurant Paul was called “Au rendez-vous des cochets”, a meeting place for artists and intellectuals. Come and sit on a bench on a sunny day and let your heart sing. Tatami de veau cuit à souhait My husband & I have eaten there many times, and there's a reason we keep going back. This restaurant is located on Place Dauphine, one of the loviest Paris' square, near Pont neuf and the Vert Galant parc. Nothing particularly notable, though wines were fairly priced.

I tried foie gras for the first time in my life and it was delicious. Traditionnel, Brasserie Delightful staff, Lucas was friendly and pointed out the framed first menu of the restaurant which was over 200 years old. I'll start by noting that I'm an American foodie who lives in Paris near Place Dauphine, where this restaurant is located. Built during the Renaissance and somewhat altered, it's still gorgeous. My cousin has recommended this restaurant for years, and I'm glad we were finally able to go; if you go, I hope that young witch will no longer be there, and I hope Mme. Foie de veau bien

Mon Paul serves typical French size portions (Small).
