Though walking up to the former is tough on the legs – particularly after all that swimming. We guarantee our prices at Cool Camping are the same, or lower, than booking elsewhere. We picked a spot on the river which is worth it, although all the pitches were great, there wasn't a rubbish pitch there. However, generally the staff were great. Please state the make and size of your tent or equipment in the notes section of the booking form so that we can be sure you have booked the most suitable pitch. Stretched along the river’s edge, the grassy tent pitches here have easy access right down to where the languid waters flow – safe, slow and thoroughly refreshing.
The overall feel of the place was only what I could describe as strange and unfriendly, we have spent 10 days travelling over France with this being our last stop and we did not experience this anywhere else. Nous sommes ravis si vous avez trouvé le personnel professionnel, aussi nous nous efforçons de mettre une ambiance amicale et chaleureuse sur le camping. Information about their services, bungalows and accommodations, pets admittance, water park, how to book. Riverside camping in the beautiful Jura. Je kampeert hier aan de voet van het bergmassief van de Jura met de rivier de Loue stromend naast de camping. The area is peaceful and pretty. So didn't do much, apart from a 2 hour canoeing trip with the company next door (20euros/adult, 15 for children). Had a lovely 4 night stay in our T5. Please provide an age for each child for an accurate price. You don’t have to be a good swimmer to have a good time at Huttopia La Plage Blanche, but it's certainly water-loving campers that glean the most out of this well-equipped campsite on the banks of the Loue.
We didn’t use the pool this looked ok but small for the size of the site. Bread can be ordered for the next day and there's a little shop.
By car: From Paris, when you reach Beaune take the A36 towards Dole, then take the exit for the A39 Dole-Choisey, followed by Exit 6 towards Dole Centre. Please state the make and size of your tent or equipment in the notes section of the booking form so that we can be sure you have booked the most suitable pitch. There was a kids club there (we didn't use it) which seemed to be doing lots of activities with younger kids which seemed really well organised and the kids were loving it. From Lyon take the A39, and follow signs for the A5 to Strasbourg. Follow signs for Ounans, and then signs for Huttopia.Lovely spot . Unlike a lot of other campsites, we found the swimming pool to be big enough and not overcrowded.
We hired the electric bikes which was brilliant, although the staff couldn't change the height of the saddle and there was a lot of faffing around which wasted a lot of time. All is home-made, fresh from the day and prepared in the minute for you to enjoy good quality food. We are limiting availability in line with the Coronavirus restrictions in each country, and we will update this as guidance changes. Overall I would highly recommend the site Aug 12, 2019 by One point, the cafe could open for longer, especially through the middle of the day.Beautiful camping in nature — but too expensive on food and drinkLovely wooded site and great pitches by the river.
The facilities were ok, as you approach the site it looked scruffy and not well maintained. Couldn't book a Riverside itch, but contacted the campsite directly, and they were able to sort it out. My bike was only half charged which did spoil it a little.
