We had to pick 3.5 years old though. What a treat it was though. Once at the tea house, there was already quite a crowd. We did this today (a Saturday) and were parked by 7:30am. Tea house in the end which is super busy we didn’t get to go in. The beautiful lakes Louise & Moraine in the Banff National Park, Canada, and views from three popular scenic hikes in the surrounding area. It was gorgeous! We went up this trail 7am on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy going up but very busy going down. Arrived at 8:30am and the lot was filling fast. Magnificent views...just stunning.Nice hike but way over crowded.

On our way down closer to 9am it was packed. Looots of mosquitoes and lots of fresh horse poo as it is also a horse trail. The trailhead can be accessed from Lake Louise near the Fairmont Chateau Hotel. Tea at the top was nice. The trail was very busy and a lot of people with no respect to move over. Teahouse very busy - bring cash. It was super short hike but definitely such beautiful views. Has a steady incline but totally doable with some breaks. Trail was in great shape. Please do your part to help the staff and keep our parks clean by being prepared to pack out any garbage from your visit. Stop and grab a bite before continuing on to little or big beehive lookout points! Note that there is no garbage/recycling bin at the tea house as the staff are responsible for trekking supplies up and down the mountain. Would recommend bringing poles as the ground is quite uneven the higher up you go, and good hiking shoes to help with the hike down.Great climb. Bit of a steep uphill bit only lasts a few minutes and is definitely worth it for the view. I thought I was in good shape but this was tough. At one point we chose to hold back from the crowd and we managed to do the rest of the hike only passing some people here and there. We did little beehive today and it was a breeze (pun intended cause it was pretty windy up there)! This trend continued to the Big Beehive and on to Devil's Thumb. Histoire. Mirror lake and Lake Agnes are lovely but it was super windy up at the tea house! Nice waterfall just before the stairs to Lake Agnes. You will encounter many view points over Lake Louise.
