I was fortunate enough to receive the Rose Gold Kit.The mod has a very typical feel and look to it.
The tissue is there to catch the liquid, instead of it splattering everywhere. After this the gargling should have gone. (on average it will receive a 4.4/10, I think that's perfectly fair). The GT Mini will do what the original Mini Nautilus did for users back in 2013. I’d made several attempts to give up smoking over the years, and I finally nailed it with vaping. Plenty of flavour, and it really brings out the sweeter notes of an e-liquid.The coil is rated best at 20-25W, and I’d say this is bang on the money. From memory, the 1.8 coils were a better vape.I’d definitely stick with 50/50, or maybe 60/40 e-liquid, as the wicking holes are really tiny.So long as you’re OK with that, I would have no problem giving this tank a very high recommendation.Another great tank from a remarkably consistent company. You can afford to push it a little higher with 50/50 e-liquid, and the wicking keeps up fine. The vapour isn’t very prominent in flavour but it does leave a prominent peachy taste at the back of the mouth. In a last ditch attempt to find an awesome MTL flavour I turned it up to 13W.The search is over, through out all of the airflow settings the coil provides a prominent whole mouth flavour, although the flavour seems more prominent with the airflow fully open. The vapour production is also satisfyingly perfect. The truth is these coils are designed to be used with 50VG/50PG liquid, and with the tanks internal design (coils are covered) I was skeptical that the small holes would allow the thick 70/30 liquid though fast enough. But I am pleased to report that both coils handled to 70/30 Juice wonderfully.I used Juccier Strawberry Mango Crush mixed at 70VG/30PG with no nicotine and it was awesome the vapour production was up (as expected) but contrary to my expectations the flavour was amazing too, at times I think the flavour was even better than it was with 50/50 juice.I should mention – due to the nature of low power, small coils and thick liquid, the coils will have a longer lasting life if you use 50/50 liquids.I am quite impressed with the airflow on the Nautilus GT, the 2.5mm coil is sufficient for almost resistance free Mouth To Lung vaping which been loose enough to allow quite comfortable lightweight Direct To Lung vaping.Going through the other airflow holes has a noticeable difference until you get to the 1mm hole which successfully provides a cigarette like draw.As I previously mentioned, when you adjust the airflow it clicks into place for each setting which is great. In fact a Nautilus 2 was my first proper tank. So this coil really is only for mouth to lung.Cloud production is, as you would expect, pretty minimal. © Copyright 2020- Electronic Cigarette Reviews By ecigclick.co.ukAspire Nautilus GT Mini Review – A Collaboration with SmokerStoreWe use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website.
The TPD version (2ml) uses a thicker acrylic tube rather than the Pyrex used in the standard version (2.8ml). In fact, even though I like a cheek sucking sort of vape, this was a little too tight for every day, and I found that I much preferred it open up one stop to 1.2mm.Cloud production is never going to be huge from a mouth to lung tank, even using a mesh coil like this.Opened up a little, and you can get some puffy little clouds, but this is a very different beast to a cloud chucker, so more of a stealth vape!Flavour is really punchy when you use 50/50 e-liquid. I’m here to do honest reviews, not a sales pitch. Aspire Nautilus GT Mini Tank. This is very much in line with other Taifun tanks, but it might be a negative for some people.Personally, I think on a side-by-side mod like the recently released I received the black version of the Aspire Nautilus GT Mini to review, but it also comes in Gold, Blue and Stainless steel. One interesting thing is that they haven’t just coloured them all differently, they actually have slightly different materials to achieve the different colours. The Black, Steel and Blue all use vacuum plating over the stainless steel (the earlier Aspire GT used DLC for the black), with the gold using gold plating.Similarly the drip tips are slightly different, the gold uses PEI (ultem) the Steel uses PCTG, the Blue uses acrylic, and the Black uses POM (delrin).Starting at the top, the drip tip is a comfortable double o-ringed 510.It has a metal base, and then one of the four different plastics (depending on colour) for the tip. It’s a relatively wide bore for a mouth to lung tank, but all of the restriction is controlled by the airflow. The top cap has very fine knurling, so it’s really easy to grip. There’s little dots on the top cap, which you line up to remove it for filling.Interestingly the top cap has an ultem section at the bottom, which becomes part of the chimney when it’s put together. This should reduce liquid coming up into the mouthpiece. The tank itself is made from Pyrex (2.8ml) or Acrylic (2ml) for the TPD markets. This is contained within a very attractive stainless steel cage design, which should reduce the risk of cracking the glass if it falls over.I’ve always been a fan of caged tank designs as I love how they look.
