The instructions are mostly pretty clear but probably better suited to an experienced modeler, some items are not called out by part number and can be confusing.
I think there are some items that benefit from gluing (the injectors and the exhaust for instance) and using glue allows any gaps between the parts halves to be eliminated which makes the model look better.
