Camp in a Campground Plan a night in one of twelve park campgrounds. At this stage one of the adults in this group were yelling and chasing her children with a cattle prodder!! The prices are way too high for what the rooms have to offer.

The Rangers in the office were helpful in planning a 10 mile hike through the backcountry for us and it was nice to have the General Store so close to get an ice cream treat afterwards. We were in the J loop near the bathrooms. Canyon village per se is not a bad place where to stay: good pool, landscape, quite close to fish river canyon (which however in summer is mostly dry) and great service. The staff was really nice and great with the kids (we camped out for quite a while doing laundry). Even with COVID restrictions (mainly no showers and no visitor center) and the closure of the Tower to Canyon Village road for construction the campground at Canyon Village could not have worked out better. Trailer Village RV Park is the only-in park RV park with full hookups and it's incredibly close to the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Sites range from partly shady to more sunny. Kind regards Koney Canyon village per se is not a bad place where to stay: good pool, landscape, quite close to fish river canyon (which however in summer is mostly dry) and great service. While there are no utility hook-ups at the sites, an RV dump station is available in the campground. We reserved a site for our big tent B37 and there was a flat spot for a very little tent and the rest of the site was sideways and downhill. Request a campsite next to a bear box.
