The other reviews describe this tea as having a similar taste to silver needle, so I initially purchased it thinking, "Well, if it's close and for a lot less then I might as well, right?" The tea is good if you are in the mood for something light and crisp. It's not its fault.

However it is very important that you keep the water well below boiling so that you do not scorch the delicate white tea leaves and remove the beneficial nutrients and delicious flavor of a White Peony white tea.
It's very pleasant in taste and extremely soothing in fragrant. DESERTED ISLAND TEST It has that light, sweet, nutty taste that I love in white peony. "Bai Mu Dan is a great light bodied tea for the morning when you want something warm but not overpowering in flavor.
It was a nice surprise for someone who is not often fond of White Tea I love white tea and the subtle, sweet and earthy flavor is wonderful without the addition of anything in the cup. It's my go-to white tea now.
