The first half is completely boring but worst of all it looks like a remake as opposed to a sequel because there are countless amounts of scenes that look extremely familiar. Love all the hostel movies all the gory just the way i like

I think I like the second movie better because I just prefer the victims to be female. If you look at today's movie previews, women empowerment is a significant theme.
The improvement over the details of how the organisation works was becoming very interesting but all is tossed out of the window for more bland and pointless dialogue and only a couple of gory segments.

I loved it! This story is told not only from the victims' point of view, but from the killers as well. Three female college students take a detour from their partying, enticed by a beautiful European woman who promises seclusion, safety and maybe even romance.
Both the "clients" and the "victims" are better understood, and the plot therefore has more depth and believability.

It's not all that gory, only one scene is an exception to that really, but the film is still head and shoulders above the others in the series.
