This particular edition was - and still is quite rarefied though, so pleased I had the opportunity to grab one... my personal wish list is getting smaller :) 300 is not a historically accurate depiction of the Battle of Thermopylae--certainly everyone has realized that by now. It gives the feel of being in a storybook or fable because the atmosphere feels surreal. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I have no idea if this is one of those films that we should mock for its historical inaccuracy, because I don’t know if the facts contained within are accurate.300 [2006 / 2012] [Premium Collection SteelBook] [Blu-ray + UV Copy]
The original is much better than the second version of the series. Themistokles is thrown into the sea by an explosion and nearly drowns before being rescued by Aeskylos, and stands by Scyllias's side as he succumbs to his injuries.
Kind of violent so I would say tha tit is okay for adults and those over, say, 13 but younger it could be a bit scary. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

Impressive. However, this is a great edition and Amazon.UK a great seller, as always!
A lot of these older steels are a real 'steal' these days as folk upgrade to the blu-r versions. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote.
If Hitler was alive, he would have loved this movie!

The only thing I don't understand is the "Ultimate Edition" logo.. it's ok, bit disappointed the fact that it takes a while to get to the uk version Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. Superb. The remaining Greek ships charge into the Persians ships, and the two armies battle, beginning the decisive At this moment Gorgo, who had been narrating the tale to the Spartans, arrives at the battle along with ships from numerous Greek city states including In North America, the film opened to number one in its first weekend with $45 million. In a 2016 interview, Snyder stated that more sequels to Unpublished at the time of the release of the film.Weiler, Yuram Abdullah. 300 is not a historically accurate depiction of the Battle of Thermopylae--certainly everyone has realized that by now. But, I concluded those critics and even some of our friends simply watched a different movie than I did. Despite that film’s unique visual style, it … Excellent, if somewhat gory movie. The story is fun and the battles are so well choreographed that it goes beyond impressive. Best, however, are the two chunky docs on Spartan culture that put 300’s mock heroics to shame with sardonic gusto. A very well put together project of what is after all a true historical event. Yeah, yeah, I know Spartans - despite having fairly liberated women and a fairly liberated society (although engaged in infanticide) also had helots (weren't they called? ) If it was, the Spartans would miraculously become a heterogeneous society where multiculturalism existed- and the Persians wouldn't be decadent with malformed people and ultra-feminized 'men'. One of the best films I have personally ever seen.
After recovering from his injuries, Themistokles learns that only a few hundred of his warriors and six of his ships survived the disastrous attack executed by Artemisia. If you have not seen this film you are missing out. Poor Gerard Butler!
This is my kind of film. Everyone in the film, even the Spartan politicians, is about as physically toned as is possible for a human, and the Spartans forsake battle armor to show off their hairless sculpted torsos. The 300 Spartans in peak condition vs. Xerxes, love it.
